autonews21x, Rolls-Royce Celebrates Festival Of Speed With Two Bespoke Models - With Goodwood Festival of Speed being one of the largest gatherings of high-end automobiles in the world and just around the corner from Rolls’s headquarters, the British marque couldn’t miss the opportunity to shine.

That’s why, the “chaps” from Goodwood, brought a couple of bespoke automobiles to parade, compete and pace at… well, Goodwood .

A Diamond Black Rolls Royce Ghost Series II with LED race lights is used as a “course car” and can be seen on the track between each Hillclimb Run. The roof-mounted LED race lights support was handcrafted in aluminum at the manufacturing plant. The car also sports a black interior with contrasting “Hotspur Red” leather and “Black Stained Ash” veneer - perfect and comfortable for racing. The Ghost is driven by David Monks, Chief Tester for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

Rolls Royce sportiest offering - Wraith, the gentleman’s GT - can be seen on the supercar run Hillclumb. The car can be distinguished by its "Ensign Red" metallic paint job, contrasted by silver accents and by the fact that it’s a Rolls Royce competing in a hill-climb course. The Wraith is driven by Joerg Weidinger, a champion mountain and hillclimb driver and Test Engineer for BMW Motorsport.

Both cars were built specifically for the event and feature unique, bespoke treadplates that read: “Hand built in Goodwood, England for the Festival of Speed 2015”.
